The organic material that forms the base of our products has always been enhanced by our production; the organic substance is of selected animal origin (particularly from fish and chicken) and exclusively of Italian origin. Without our sustainable input, this post-human consumption organic material would be lost and end up in the environment without the appropriate provision of care.
In addition, we attribute great importance to the reduction of emissions into the atmosphere. This is achieved through a rigorous and constant control of the efficiency of the system and reduction of NOx and CO2 gases. Our biofilters exploit bark to block out the dust in the air and the thermal energy requirements needed for production are met thanks to clean sources. The excess heat is shared via district heating with the surrounding buildings for a beneficial anthropogenic integration.
Our waste water undergoes phytoremediation through marsh plants particularly greedy of the nitrogen and ammonia present in the outlet, in tanks with a thin layer of sifting gravel.
The commitment to sustainable agricultural production continues day by day. Thanks to the results achieved so far, our circularity index of 56% is already high for the national average (sourced from a recent circularity inspection).
